A Brief History of the Ministry

The Voice of Triumph began in 1980, shortly after we were married. We were with another ministry, but God led us back to North Carolina for a new beginning. We saw God moving immediately after the decision and the blessings have never stopped.

In 1981, we obtained our non-profit status and started our newsletter, all the while, traveling and preaching here and abroad.

We had a tent ministry for 13 years and started our youth camps in 1981. The youth came from every where and for nine years we rented a facility in Wilkesboro, NC, annually for youth camps. When that building became unavailable, we began to seek God about building and God led us here to Blacksburg, SC, where we built a 15 thousand square foot worship center and campground with dorms, dining room, kitchen and sanctuary.

A small congregation began attending a Bible study that Brother Rogers felt impressed to begin and from that our current church was birthed and for 13 years, we have reached out here to our local community as well as maintaining several other areas of ministry.

Brother Ernest is senior pastor of the church and Sister Ann works closely with him. Both of us still travel here in the states and we also take mission trips.

Sister Ann has 7 albums of songs and has written 3 books, which you can view by clicking on Products. In 2001, we started a community food bank which now feeds an average of 600 families per month. A Bible Correspondence course is also available.

The entire ministry, and all its outreaches, is sponsored by freewill offerings and is totally faith based. Send all mail, product orders or donations to The Voice of Triumph, 179 Corry Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702. All gifts are tax deductible.
